It’s a powder day for southern Vermont and New Hampshire skiers. Many mountain areas are reporting 6-10+” of fresh snow, so get out there and enjoy it!
Magic Mountain in southern Vermont is one of the few ski areas in the country that is really embracing the growing interest in human-powered skiing and riding. Skiers with AT, telemark or splitboard equipment are welcome to climb Magic, ski the front or back side of the mountain, and do it again and again – free of charge. With the lifts spinning only four days a week (Friday through Monday), Magic is all the more enticing. If you haven’t check out Magic, it is a beautiful southern Vermont mountain with plenty of charm and some really fun terrain. It is currently working to develop a cooperative of skier/rider-owners by selling shares in the mountain. So if you enjoy skiing at Magic enough, please consider owning a piece of this great Vermont ski area.
