Champlain Powder – In Black & White

Although snow squalls left us with a daily dose of fresh snow in the mountains this week, the conditions on Friday were extra special. We can thank the large body of water we call order xanax online Lake Champlain for giving these snow squalls a little boost, too. Here are a few images captured on Friday in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains. (Click on the images to enlarge.) Enjoy!

Beautiful skiing! How fat are those skis?

  1. Thanks CJ! Emily’s usually skiing a 143cm Icelantic Scout (140-105-130mm) when skiing more technical terrain with little base this time of year… as they give her incredible manueverability and control = more fun & safe skiing! Something even wider (approx. 115 mm under foot) than the Scout and perhaps 150cm long, might just be her dream ski for the wild woods of Vermont…

Awesome pics! Looks like you were ripping up the Marquette’s. I’m headed up on mine in the morning.

    1. Hey Tony – We’ve been mixing it up this week, but have been favoring a ski with metal edges with the crust still lingering beneath… Let us know how you fair on Sunday. We’ll be out Sunday pm.
