Photo of the Week: Winter’s Last Gasp

It’s been a beautiful and sunshine-filled week across much of the Northeast, a great stretch of weather for getting out on the bikes, taking the inaugural dip in a pond or milking winter’s lingering snowpack. After a few great runs earlier in the week, including one with Brian’s mom (go Christa!) down the classic and flowing Perry Merrill run at Stowe, we saved ourselves a little extra time on Wednesday to kick back and relax along the rooftop of Vermont’s Green Mountains. As the sun approached the horizon, we strolled along a nice, dry stretch of VT’s historic Long Trail, bound for some of our very last turns of the season.
