With the recent return of snow in the lower elevations, a great variety of human-powered skiing opportunities have opened up in our backyards, on sloped pastures, and within our town and state parks close to home. First timer Jamie Bouchard, 11, was introduced to backcountry skiing by her dad this past weekend at historic Little River State Park in Waterbury Vt.
Two separate exploratory outings, and the combination of sunshine, generic viagra no prescription needed scenery and trailside hot drinks, was all it took to convince the young Bouchard that there is great adventure beyond the lift-served slopes of our favorite ski areas. Apparently, she can’t wait to get out there again. And Dad’s simply stoked that he’s got a new skiing partner.
