Wednesday’s storm treated many mountain areas of the Northeast to 6-12″ of fresh snow, and the off-piste skiing, especially, has improved dramatically. There’s still little to no base in many mid to lower elevation zones, but in some areas higher up, it’s finally starting to look a bit more like mid winter. Here’s an image captured while skiing through the storm in Vermont’s Mad River Valley earlier this week. Without a doubt, it was nice to see some snow flying! Ski you out there. – Brian
