Helmet Cam Avalanche Burial

This video (captured via helmet cam by a skier who triggers and then gets buried by a significant avalance) drives home the importance of knowing your limits (knowledge and skill wise) when sliding on snow in the backcountry… This avalanche occurred in Alaska, but avalanches like this regularly occur in the backcountry throughout mountain ranges of the northeastern US and Canada.
