A good 5-7″+ inches of creamy powder snow blanketed Vermont’s General Stark Mountain (home to Mad River Glen ski area) on Wednesday night. With the holiday week ahead, and the official opening of MRG scheduled for today (12/24), this surprise snowfall could not have been better timed… Nor could it have been more fun to ski! It’s going to be a great week to ski in the northeast.
Happy holidays to everyone! See you in the mountains!

WooHoo!!!
WOW. Where did you find all that snow!?
Great stuff. Looks like a lot of fun.
Be careful out there and please consider wearing a helmet in those trees.
Killer!
Awesome video! Did you shoot it with Vholdr?

Thanks! We captured this with a simple Sony mini-DV camcorder, held in my right hand while skiing.
Not bad all! Last time I used a flip camera at Killington and has to say that I got better quality from it compared to a helmet cam. Hey, Can I embed this video on my webpage? i will put a full credit a link back to your site.
Have fun skiing this week 😉

Thanks Tony. We’ll look forward to seeing you, too. Looks like we’ve got a great week of skiing ahead! Bring along a few friends on Thursday, and come early/stay later for a little food/drink. The more the merrier! Ski you soon.
