Photo of the Week: Really Good Friday

After a rather exciting stretch of unsettled weather brought thunderstorms, flooding rains and mountain snows to the northeast over the last week, the weather gods treated us to one of nicest days of the spring on Friday – aka Earth Day and/or Good Friday. The skies were clear, temps rose into the 50s in the valleys and winds were light. We took advantage of this weather window while skiing in one of our favorite spots in the northeast. It was a quiet and beautiful day, with winter’s brush strokes coloring the scene at higher elevations, and only the rush of the wind, the trickle of water and the songs of birds filling the air. Indeed, it was a really good Friday. (Click smaller image to enlarge. Skier: Dave Bouchard) – Brian

Hey, you went to the whites without me!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Spontaneous morning mission led us to some luscious low-angle trees. You would have loved it. Wanna head north with us?
